I highly recommend this as the best root waterer out there. I searched and searched for a good root waterer and all of them just looked too flimsy. When I saw a post on a landscaping forum for the WiserWand, I took a closer look. Seeing that this deep root waterer version had foot pegs to push it into the ground made me think that it was probably sturdier than others that just push in by hand. I was not wrong! It always seemed like those other ones would have handles breaking frequently and the reviews of those other wands confirm that. You’d have a very hard time breaking this one.
The service and delivery was timely and it came as expected and packaged well. I LOVE the design of the tip of this wand because it will never clog (unlike other competing root waterers) and is strong enough to push into even the hardest soils. I also love that the top of it is a standard hose connection so you can connect a standard trigger/gun or any other attachment with that same threading. While the spray gun that comes with it is a good, sturdy basic one already, I have an Eley spray gun that attaches into the WiserWand perfectly for an even sturdier setup. But, the real benefit to the WiserWand here is that any spray gun with threads on the end will work and that means you can always just change the gun part out if it ever breaks. Thanks for making a great product!

Great tool I’ve been searching a while for a nice tool to do deep watering on my trees and came across this tool and I wasn’t disappointed. It has a solid built that is going to last a very long time not like the other flimsy tools on the market and trust me when I say it have a solid built because I’ve really put mines to the test because the ground in my back yard is really hard. Shipping was really quick and packaging was well put together I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tool to do deep root watering.

I bought this last year, 2019, and used it throughout the growing season. I’ve been very pleased with how sturdy it is and it has held up just fine as far as I can tell. I have begun to carry a pin with me stuck in my shirt in case I need to unclog the tip. After a while I’ve noticed the spray pattern wasn’t exactly symmetrical. It does put out a nice spray pattern even for watering above ground. The standard spray nozzle it comes with can be set for automatic flow at a variable rate so a person can set the wand in the ground and go off and do some weeding while still irrigating. I do recommend this product over some of the cheaper plastic handled models I’ve had in the past, which have broken. With that experience I do let the water loosen up the soil a bit then use the footpegs gingerly.

I bought a watering wand several months when it was on amazon. It’s the best invention for deep root watering compared to any on the market. After the company (Alan, a true gentleman) owner shared a video with me on how to loosen my soil not only can a disabled person use it, but my landscaper used it when trying to plant some perennials in rock solid Texas soil. Worked perfectly! He’s going to buy one now. Cut his digging time in half and he charged less. He even deep root watered my Italian cypress trees for me as he was having fun. Now, after 3 years of not having a patio pot garden, I do! And it’s tough to water with a regular hose nozzle as it sprays dirt all over the leaves and Wastes a lot of water. Well guess what. Alan makes one without foot rods just for patio gardens. It will aerate the soul, water at the bottom and not waste a drop. I’m buying that one tomorrow. You will be very satisfied with your purchase. I give you my word on that. By the way, I’m pretty sure it’s hand made. It’s extremely sturdy.
